    • Jake discovered the power of music in his adolescence through hard rock bands such as Nirvana, Pantera, and Rage Against the Machine. He decided to pick up the guitar at the tender age of 16. Jake has since been rockin' through the new millennium performing with multiple bands and jamming with various musicians in the Portland/Eugene area. Guilty Parties is the third band Jake has played with.

    As a musician, and as a socially conscious individual, Jake has been deeply moved by Morello's works, as well as his activism

    with Axis of Justice. Jake has been drawn to the unique sound that Morello unleashes in his riffs and solos, regarding him as an innovator and a role model. Jake is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in sociology at UofO.
